"went to a christening here horrendous the wait staff was so unprofessional the tent the party was in was not even set up fully as people were walking in and the psrty was starting the food was not ready on time the staff kept having to be told to replenish the wine bring out tje hourderves the two women and guy in charge were just standing around giving attitudes and dirty looks to people they never set up a changing table for the baby whos party it was like they prmoised food took forever the party ended at 6 food didnt come out until after 4 do not have a party here it was horrible i could keel going but wont"

"My sister and I found one of the true hidden gems on Staten Island. Its indoor and outdoor venues make it the perfect setting for any party. Tons of free parking. Yes it is on a golf course, but it is like a throw back to a simpler day and yet, very casual and current. The staff are pleasant and accommodating. The food is good and reasonably priced. The Verandathe patio its self, if the weather co-operates, is my favorite area. Absolutely beautiful to sit and enjoy a few drinks or a meal while over-looking the golf course. There is a main dining room in which I have attended smaller family parties and there is a "clubhouse" type bar . There is also a huge tent which could hold hundreds of guests for weddings or larger parties. I have already booked a party there this summer. Bands are also booked at some of the bigger events. I almost hate to tell anyone about this place for fear that it draws crowds and I will lose my personal "little country club"."

"My wife and I came here for dinner twice. Both times we were there for the Thursday prime rib special, which we like rare, and ordered that way. The first time, we got it medium rare, and it was OK. The second time it was medium well, which was not OK. My wife also attended a shower here and really did not like her meal at all. The other problem that the dining room has almost no soundproofing. Both times I ate here, only one other table was being used, but it sounded like the room was packed. When my wife attended the shower, she said she could barely hold conversations with all the noise. I will give them this - there are beautiful views from the veranda."

"Went for dinner on Easter sunday. We had such an enjoyable time eating next to the fireplace. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. i would highly recommend visiting this restaurant"
