"The food was good, but we have found that there is a lack of caring in takeout orders. We ordered a simple cheese and bacon omelette, got charged $3 for the bacon, and then got no bacon :("

"The one star is because I cannot give it 0 stars. This place is filthy, you know how I know that? because I worked there.The quality of the food has always been garbage, if you don't believe me, I dare you to start checking the expiration date on the items brought to your table. Or even better go to the diner on a weekend at around 10:30AM and you will catch all the items brought from a last minute warehouse of items that are close to or already expired. That isn't what makes this place a dump, what really makes this place is a dump is the TONS of lawsuits against the owner who pays everyone less than $5 an hour. If you want to keep supporting a dump that abuses employees thats fine I don't care but honestly as a customer you deserve better."

"I remember going there in the early 80's with my mother to get the best milkshakes I've ever tasted but now all I can find in my new home state Texas is ice cream in a cup. I also remember a time when I worked at Dan's next door a waitress became concerned when I kept buying a piece of cake every day before work and one day refused to serve me a piece but instead served me a healthy breakfast. That simple act of kindness I will never forget."
