"Just came back from lunch at Coral Bay. Service was horrendous. Asked waitress for sweetener for my tea. She never came back to table. She was outside fixing the front door and I called her to remind her. No bread was ever brought to the table. When our meal finally arrived I asked. Her for bread and she said we would have to wait they needed to warm it. We finished our lunch and she then came out with some very sad looking bread and told us this was all they had they were waiting for more bread. Really? That took them twenty minutes to realize. The waitress never once came back to ask us if we needed anything. Our water and drink glasses were empty. Terrible experience would not recommend or go back there again"

"I've never left a place afraid I'd gotten food poisoning but after last night, something is wrong here. It wasn't just us, it was all the tables around us. I'm assuming the place is going out of business. We tried to order a bottle of white wine. We tried 6 different bottles and the waitress kept coming back telling us they were out of them. We saw them go into the parking lot in a shed and pull the bottle out. It was room temperature. The table next to us ordered a mojito and in the middle of August, the waitress said they don't make mojitos. We ordered with the waitress but a bus boy came back to ask us what our appetizers were. Then a different bus boy came back asking what our entrees were. The fish is heavily covered in sauce and it made you think they were trying to conceal the quality of the fish. Another table sent their food back, the scallops were raw. With all this going on, the owner/manager/women in the front never came over to ask, to apologize. It was up to the poor servers to handle one disaster after another. After all the amazing review on here, something is clearly going wrong here now."

"This restaurant is a disaster. I had a reservation for 4:30 for a table of six and if the waiting almost 10 minutes for somebody to acknowledge my presence I went outside and set up my own table. Thought that was no biggie but 4 hours later the meal was finally done. Steaks were horrible and seriously overcooked. They took them back but when they brought new ones it was as if they threw it on a flame and brought back raw meat. This was a surf and turf and another steak that cost almost $90. They forgot parts of the meals and my son's penne with shrimp came without shrimp. When they finally brought shrimp it was a couple of pieces of boiled shrimp with absolutely no flavor, so very sad. The wait staff looked like they did not want to be there. I ordered a pitcher of sangria and then we had another one and I was charged $44 for the first one and only $33 for the second one because I was told the first one was peach which I did not order. Not even South Fin charges $44 for a pitcher of sangria. I was so optimistic about having a place close to home outside with an ocean breeze and after $450 realized I will never go back again. I never mind spending money on a good meal but this was simply not worth it and there were many tables around us complaining as well."

"Took my lady-friend there for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. They start you off with an eggplant salad that was amazing. I had a mixed seafood dish over linguini, I asked for it a little spicy and it came out absolutely perfect. She had the Penne Vodka and it came out amazing and creamy. We will definitely go back. The place that night was very quiet and unless you know that the restaurant is there, you wouldn't see it from the road. It is a great kept secret and I hope they last"

"We went to Coral Bay because Docks off Page Ave. was packed. I had heard about it here and it got good reviews so I figured, why not We should have walked out immediately, as their air conditioning wasn't working it was mid 90s weather, they had huge fans on that weren't really helping, but it was getting late so we stayed. The food was fine, nothing to brag about, but they really overprice their dishes. Also, they must not be accustomed to children eating at their establishment, because they brought my 8 year old's dinner out with our dinners instead of with the appetizers and she complained for 25 minutes about how hungry she was. If you want great seafood, go to Docks. We should have waited. Even Bonefish Grill in NJ is better than this place, and that's a chain. Save your money, don't bother."

"Went there with a party of 5, and it was great. The service was a little slow, but we got to really relax and enjoy our meal instead of feeling rushed through it. I think some people have forgotten what it's like to dine out without restaurant staff making you feel like they can't wait for you to leave. The food was well worth the price. Loved my steak, and I had the best baked clams I've had in a long time. We all left happy."
