Jerry’s Diner, also known as Jerry’s 637, has closed after decades of serving breakfast and lunch on Bay Street. The diner had a loyal following for its classic menu—omelettes, waffles, pancakes, club sandwiches, and burgers—served in a simple, no-frills style.

Located near Tappen Park, Jerry’s was the kind of place where you could start your morning with coffee and eggs or sit down for an affordable lunch. It became a regular stop for locals and commuters alike. With its closure, another piece of Staten Island’s old-style diner culture has disappeared.
