"It's the newest sushi restaurant in our neighborhood and this spot has been vacant for quite some time since Sake One closed. For the past year there was some Korean restaurant that never really served real Korean food, another sushi restaurant with the same name that never served any real sushi,and finally there is Sushiya. I can't say it is "The Best Sushi we ever tasted" but I will say it is a decent option, so far the items we tried have been spot on, service is very quick compared to a few others which take an hour or so to get delivered, this restaurant has been fulfilling this need under 30 minutes. The food, Eel Rolls, Yellowtail, Spicy Tuna and spider roll were all delicious, just the right amount of fish along the rest of the sushi, tasted really fresh. Appetizer Beef Negimaki and Grilled Squid are excellent as well. The Thai Curry dishes really need some more vegetable but non the less a decent option overall."

"The food was fine typical Staten Island Asian place but the portions for the red curry were very very small. Especially for $13. Buyer beware."
