"My wife ordered a spider roll and a black spider man roll. We had ordered from this place before, but this time my wife could not eat the rolls. They were so bad one of the rolls was rotten, and the other had scales in it that my wife was afraid she would get sick... I called the restaurant for a refund, was asked to wait for a call back, received a call back and subsequently the delivery person came back to pick up the sushi [including what my wife had spat out], another phone call telling me that my credit card was refunded.... but then the kicker -- they had the $@$! to ask me for my credit card number again to charge the $5 tip I had originally given the driver!! I was floored! I suggest staying away. There are many fine sushi places in the area!"

"Excellent food....teriyaki salmon is fantastic: fresh, delicious.....I love their pineapple brown fried rice... their sushi is also very fresh, and East offers the option of using soy rather than seaweed paper on the sushi rolls.... I've been eating East's food for many years.... Love it !!!"

"Everything was really good, the portions are very large for lunch. Salmon Teriyaki lunch box was very tasty, the fish tasted fresh not frozen, cooked just right. Eel rolls were delicious. Tropical Chicken combo was very good, huge portion which came with a side of spring rolls. Also the Miso soup is usually salty everywhere, here it was just subtle, just right, lots of seaweed and miso but not heavy salted, it was just right. Ordering was easy as well and they accepted the $3 coupon for lunch even though most places dont allow use of coupons during lunch."

"This is an Asian Restaurant - not just a Sushi Place, their kitchen entrees are so good, we were so suprised that we never checked out the menu thinking they are a Sushi place only. They have entrees such as pork chops which are cooked so tender, tasty and crispy on the outside that compare to some of the best pork chops we have tasted. all of the food here is very fresh, delivered fast, there is no other Asian restaurant in the neighborhood and its really well executed."

"After Aka Sushi closed we have quickly ran into East Sushi, it's the same owners of the Chinese Restaurant next door but for some reason when it came to Sushi we always went with AKA Now we tried East Sushi and it is very good, very clean fresh tasting rolls, great selection of specialty rolls and pretty quick delivery as well."

"The food is wonderful I cannot deny this. But the service is absolutely horrible. The woman behind the counter is too worried about hating her life and/ or her job to have a decent attitude towards customers. I suggest this place find someone new to work their counter or i'm sure soon enough others will start to realize they shouldn't waste their time or money unless you wanna be treated horribly, to the point it drives you to write a horrible review. The delivery driver is also rude asking for his tips, and when we call back to explain the situation that our tip was added into the total from the food we ordered online , she is even more rude then when we walked in, claiming we should tip him because he works for free, no sweetie he works for you, his salary is not on me and whether or not i feel he should be tipped. I ended up giving him a dollar anyway because I felt bad but never in my life have i been asked for a tip by someone that delivers food. I "tip" when i feel everything has gone exactly the way it needed too. Again to anyone reading this do not waste your time, there are plenty of other, and better places than this."

"Excellent food all around. This is a complete Asian Restaurant without Chinese food. Curry dishes were excellent, Shrimp is Jumbo Shrimp and the portion for only $10 is Huge, huge shrimp, filled with vegetables and excellent curry. Very large selection of rolls, regular and special, very large selection of various dishes such as lemongrass pork chops, salmon, wok vegetables and they also serve some very rare dishes including the yellowtail neck broiled, whole grilled squid. Menu always pleases and has enough options for everyone. Prices are great, ordering on whereyoueat you get discounts like $5 off and the food always arrives quickly and well packaged."
