"I went there to pick up because my Uncle does not eat Spicy food and let me tell you this beautiful family made a plain steak for my Uncle so we could eat there instead of take out. The food was GREAT is was what I expected from a family owned restaurant. I would come back again and again so it's not just the great food it was the warm welcome you get."

"This restaurant is the most welcoming place I've ever been to. They're super kind and friendly with every customer that walks in. I came here about 2 weeks ago and I completely fell in love with their service and of course, their food. I would definitely recommend this place. It's not big but its very comfortable to grab something to eat! Definitely coming back here."

"The only place serving authentic Mexican street food and it's excellent value on the dollar. Picaditos made from corn flower or corn masa was incredible and the price $3 almost filling for entire lunch. Great food, just wish there was a bit more room to sit as many times no seats available"

"This is a delightful little Mexican restaurant. It's so small that you might go right past it, which would be too bad. The couple that runs it are very friendly and they prepare fresh made homestyle and very delicious authentic Mexican food. Tacos, quesadillas, tamales and other items are great. Tortas, Mexican style sandwiches, are huge and layered with lots of ingredients. Enchiladas with chicken, black beans and mole poblano are excellent. The mole poblano is rich and flavorful. The burritos are huge, delicious, include a vegetarian version and are very filling. There only two stools in the place so the business is essentially take-out and delivery. Delivery has always been very prompt. I would definitely recommend Casa Chonita to anyone who wants authentic Mexican food."
