"I ordered my food at 6:12 pm on Bella Romas website and selected a 7:15 delivery, as I was still commuting... At 6:35 the deliveryperson was calling from outside my door. He could not understand the language enough to comprehend that the order was for 7:15 and that I was not home. He finally understood that he needed to wait. But suddenly, I was having to rush home to get my food! I called Bella Roma and explained the situation to the person that answered. He indicated that he would call the driver and send him back and without asking he said I would get it "fresh". When I got home the at 7:10, the delivery came a few minutes after. - COLD PIE! We ate it but resolved never to get food there again... We had been getting a Grandma Pie with an appetizer every week through the summer. I am understanding of inconsistencies with food prep or delays, but not aggravation , that is - having to call to explain about the order, interacting with the restaurant and still getting COLD FOOD."

"Bella Roma was always 5 stars, but now under new ownership, new menu and it's as good as always. Pizza is one of the best in Bay Ridge, their pasta dishes and entrees are second to none, Bella Roma is probably the best regular pizza joint in all of Bay Ridge."
