"Excellent to have another option for Asian cuisine in the neighborhood - what's even better is the menu features unique items. Chicken Katsu was presented well and tasted delicious. The sushi was fresh and you could tell high quality texture and very well prepared, cut just right. Now for the meal, the Ramen, what this place seems already famous for was absolutely YUM! That may be the reason for the name Yum Yum! Ramen! Interior is very nice and pleasant to eat in as well as all the staff."

"In response to some of the other reviewers. No, the soup doesnt look exactly like the pictures. But it is very good. Not very high quality like the places that charge upwards of $20. The sushi here tastes good. I've had a few of their appetizers that were also very good. I've been there about 6 times so far just because it is such a better experience than the other asian restaurants in the area, and the prices are reasonable. I hope this place does well. One thing i have a complaint about is the decorations they put on sushi plates. I think it's the sort of thing that women would really enjoy seeing on their plate but I think of them as more of an obstacle. It's a nice touch but I don't personally enjoy it. The food is very well presented and I've never worried about the cleanliness or safety of the food. The atmosphere is nice. When there are a lot of people there, the volume never gets too loud or too quiet. The music is usually relaxing. Another complaint I have is the way the owner treats his employees, just because once I saw him yelling at a waitress. She was our waitress, nice but possibly sub-par. Regardless, I don't want to see a boss yelling at his employees as I'm eating a nice meal in what feels like a semi-nice restaurant. I say semi-nice because it's casual but casual standards. I do recommend eating here if you don't want to go to a hole in the wall restaurant and you want good food in a similar price range to one one of those holes in the wall. I will continue to eat here."

"I have never been disappointed. Per mile, there must be as many asian places to eat as there are delis in the 10312 area - and we have tried all the sushi and chinese places. This one is one of the best. Peter the sushi guy is so nice, patient, and takes special requests. I don't know how other people have given bad reviews - unless you're an idiot that orders by pictures - you must ALWAYS be disappointed - haha. Full flavor, they don't skimp, and if you're nice, they even give extra food and other gifts off menu free."

"Very extensive Asian menu and so far everything we tried was excellent. Sushi is uncomparable to any of the half price joints on Staten island, they are in a league of their own. Asian dishes, Chinese food and even the Ramen is very good. delivery 30 to 40 minutes. even on Friday nights."

"They overcharge and do not keep to the prices in the menu. This happened several times will never go back! The staff and woman at the front are nasty and lack common manners."

"Food was mediocre. Serve hot tea in cups too hot to handle probably microwaved. Would not put air conditioner on even though it was hot out and hotter in restaurant. Waitress couldn’t be bothered. We will never come back."
