"This Eastern European cuisine restaurant has an unforgettable atmosphere.I was there couple of times and want to come again and again. "Troy Restaurant in Staten Island is truly a dining experience like no other. From the moment you walk in the door you are welcomed by a tremendously high ratio of workers to guests. You are made to feel you are the only guests there on any particular evening. There will never be a moment where you are not every server's center of attention. Once the meal begins you immediately feel Troy should be ranked very highly. Chef creates each dish with flavors one would never imagine would work together. But they successfully do. The word "ordinary" is not in Troy's vocabulary. The overall decoration is unusually unique and professional. I think the band and the whole evening show could be an honor to any professional theater Dining at Troy will leave you wondering how you can ever enjoy a meal in another restaurant ever again. "My husband and I enjoyed one of the best dinners we ever had at Troy. The menu had options that anyone would enjoy. We were wowed by every course. Every bite melted in our mouths. Our waiter was very helpful and explained everything on the menu to us, in detail. The bar has a very extensive selection of fine wine and spirits. If you need help pairing the food and wine the staff was on top of it also. The ambiance of the restaurant was excellent. Especially complemented by a very talented band. We walked away with a great experience one I wish that everyone could experience. It is a great place for a load and fun party as well as for an intimate dinner together."

"If there was a 0 i would give it...The food and service is good but it's a rip off especially if you are getting a Groupon...There was manager or a supervisor to talk to and when asked for the owner he wasn't there either. I had the waitress call the boss and he said that he wasn't the one to write the Groupon but he did sign it...But it clearly said that it comes with 4 classes of wine and it was included in the bill....I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE IT'S A RIP OFF!!!"

"This place has so much potential but yet again management or the lack there of can't ruin a place. We got the groupon that clearly states $100 of food and 4 glasses of wine for $60. Mind you the description in the original groupon pre purchase was slightly different. Awesome yes!! So we thought. I made the reservation, got my girls together to dine. We were the ONLY 4 ppl there on Sunday afternoon. We informed the server of the groupon, she screen shot it with her phone and we were on to ordering. We ordered bunch items to share, all were tasty. We even joked about how we were going to rave on yelp about the place. When the check came, the wine 4 glasses, total of $36 was not taken off. To anyone whom speaks proper English, it is clear what the offer meant. The wholesale of the wine to the restaurant could have not been more than $10. The server went back and forth with Management via phone a couple times and even was embarrassed. One of the ladies asked to speak to him via phone unprofessional and he still wanted us to pay for the wine. Bad business Sir. The money is not the issue, it is the ethics. We can afford bottles if we wanted but he chose to fight about it and therefore has lost all of our business.... Which is a lot considering 2 of us are Islanders and we all like to dine out with our family and friends. I even came here once before and enjoyed it. Moral of the story It is not the customers fault you don't word or understand descriptions, you need to do right by the customer and know that it will make you more Money in the future."
