"wait staff is very unfriendly and blonde waitress is rude. After splitting a salad and a chicken parm each, she came over with a chuckle and smirk and asked, " I don't know if I should even ask, but do you guys have room for dessert?" Really?? "So we were introduced to this place by our 17 year old son. Seems he and his friends were frequently visiting your restaurant and always talked about the pizza for the following week. One evening, my husband and I decided to take a ride and visit your venue. Absolutely the best pizza hands down. We were sitting close to where our pizza chef was preparing his magic. Wonderful! We not only loved the pizza, the wine you sell is great. We tried a bottle of your Passat Cabernet Sauvignon and it too was great. Really recommend this place. A star on New Dorp Lane...."

"Different, and not for everyday, but the specialty pizzas are excellent. The things their pizza chef are doing is worthy of the trendiness, but whether or not it's worth $22+ a pie is up to your own taste. Do you value art and experimentation over 'just give me a cheese pie'? If so these pizzas are worth your money just to see what this man is doing over a thin crust. If you are looking for a good, cheap pizza - stick to your current pizzeria. For me, this place has merit, if not as my go-to pizza place. They are a welcome addition to the neighborhood though!"

"Excellent brick oven pizza in a modern setting. The wait staff is friendly and provides good service. Prices are comparable to other traditional pizzerias. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Don't forget to try their grilled chicken caeasr salad and baked ziti....de-lish! One of the Giove brothers is always there making the pizzas...it's always comforting to know that the owners are around."

"Absolutely the most original pizza on the island. This is authentic Italian pizza that is as good as or better than the best the Puglia Region of Italy, known for its great comfort food, has to offer. These guys are from a town just outside of Bari, the Capital of Puglia. I recently returned from a three week stay in the region and the only place to get better food than this place is at my Mom's house."

"I've lived in New York my entire life and I've come in contact with good and bad pizza, but Give ' s pizza is by far the worst! Very unfriendly staff and the food made me sick. I have 3 boys and they eat just about any pizza you stick in front of them, but they absolutely hated it. It was burnt and had no flavor. I would not recommend this place. It's a wonder how this place is still open. I wouldn't feed this pizza to my dead dog!!! And get rid of that blonde waitress, super unprofessional!"

"my husband and i were introduced to this place by a friend. We've only been once and loved it. We shared a calamari and a large pizza that they were able to make 1/2 and 1/2 of 2 difference flavors. I can't wait to go there again and try some of their other menu items. The wait was EXTREMELY long for our food b/c they burnt our pizza and had to remake it The apologized and made us a new one. Would have been nice to offer us a drink or small salad for the mishap while we waited for another pizza. I was bummed that they didn't have any tiramisu that night"
