"One of my favorite neighborhood places. For the money, which is not high, there is nice menu, good food, plentiful portions. You`ll need a doggie bag. Good service. Wait staff has been there quite a while. Friendly."

"Since new ownership I must say the food is excellent. On weekends great entertainer and wonderful singer. The owner is very friendly and makes you feel like family. I highly recommend."

"Had a really nice experience at Lento's the other night. The reason we chose lentos over the other 2 Italian restaurants on New Dorp was the package they offered and the room was private for us to enjoy. Each person had their own plate, salads, choice from 3 different dinners and coffee. This included Soda and Wine as well as allowed for substitutes from the entrees. The food, I enjoyed the Oreganato of Sole, which was delicious, the portion was just right, came with a side of string beans and mashed potatoes. Everyone else enjoyed the food as well. It was a very nice and pleasant, quite atmosphere with light music in the background and a great server that made the experience pleasant. Will be a very good option for us for future occasions."
