"We recently went to Docks for dinner and were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was ok, nothing way out there, made you feel as if you were at the beach so fit the theme. The staff were wonderful and attentive but not to the point where one felt they are being rushed. Now the food.. I had the Chicken Florentine and there was enough to feed 3 healthy adults. The Shrimp parm was wonderful and the soups in themselves filling. Everything was freshly made and hot when brought to the table. A definite must go so add to your list"

"Had dinner there today and was very disappointed. The wait staff was very friendly but the food was horrible, a steak had to be brought back 3x because it was raw, food was cold pasta overcooked ran out of coconut shrimp appetizer so gave us a half order and drinks were watered down. We spend so much money expecting great food as we did have in the past and it was terrible, also took 3 hours from start to finish."

"oh my gosh, the lobster ravioli of Docks was just so amazing. it was very tasty and the cream sauce was too good that's why I needed another one for the peeps at home. My mother and sisters really liked it when they tasted it. they told me to buy more if I get to come by the place again. loved the dish."

"wow......can't believe this has 4 stars.when we first went in there we thought oh it's good we chose this restaurant ,not the hibachi next door.....it looks nice and clean,,,and not busy...so we thought we could have a nice dinner there.boy was i wrong!!!the waitress was not pleasant ,no smile just a hi.took the order and dissappeared.waited 20 mins.got our kids' food.chicken nuggets and fries are not fresh.u can still taste the "frozen taste" in it. fries were not even fried!!!!!!!they taste like they were just taken out from the freezer and microwaved!!!!!!my poor kids were so dissppointed.ok we thought our food will be good.after another agonizing 35 or 40 mins.....two huge plates are brought to us by the same unfriendly waitress.A BIG ...i mean a huge white plate with some terrible food.and it didn't even cover a quter of the plate.my husband got some "frozen" beans and ta tiny piece of fish.i lost my appetite when i saw the presentation of our food!!!it was embarrassing that we went there.20 yrs in staten island and we've been to almost all the italian ,chinese,korean,japanese restaurants and diners and this is the most disgusting experience we had in all our life!!!!!!and the dessert was the same too.i've never tasted cheesecake like that.plz plz plz whoever read this...don't go here if u want a pleasant evening!!!the wait was too long,no friendly service,terrible food, the only good thing about this reastaurant is it look nice!!!!!!!!!!but that's not the reason we go out to a restaurant..............is it!!!!!!!!!shame on u docks.we will never set foot in this restaurant that's for sure!!"

"i heard about this restaurant on the ELVIS DURAN show.we went there on a wednesday night.it was incredible.the food was great.we had scallops.they were excellent.the staff was fantastic.they didn't rush us and the food came as i would expect it.the staff was friendly and there was a very homelike atmosphere.even one of the owners came over to say hello.i forgot her name.i will definitely go back and would recommend this place to everyone."

"I didn't have a good experience. The kitchen was overwhelmed. Our food took over 2 hours to come out. our waitress had to be flagged down to get a drink, and you would think after waiting for 2 hours for the food to come out, that it would kill them to buy us a round. won't be a repeat customer"

"Ok, I will start with my dislikes, and there are not many, but I would like to see them addressed. First, wait staff, while they are usually very nice, attentive, whether you are with a man or you are women, they call you "guys'. Stop that. Second, the bread is usually room temp, but the butter is usually frozen. Please heat up the bread for a minute or so before you bring to the table. That would be nice. Third, and final, see told you not too many. Too much ice in the drinks. Whether it be liquor or soft drinks, please put less ice in them. Thank you. Now for my likes, wait staff is helpful, and very nice but lose the guys while serving women. Kudos. Menu, nice variety, and everything I have tried has been top notch. Their specialty nights, I have been to two, are amazing. Really different, great selection and presentation, and priced fairly. I look forward to them having more. That being said, I like."

"OMG....We ordered our food at 7:35 and it arrived at 9:15. Too long of a wait for food. I complained and told that it was cooked fresh...really, I ordered scallops which should take about 6 minutes to cook, my kids had penne vodka. Awful service....an awful experience."

"Just ate at Docks for lunch. If you are a Maxer you will love this place. The food was fresh and exceptionally tasty. The waitress was friendly and very courteous. The food came out in a timely manner. The owner Kim is a doll. She gave us tastes of different Max compliant items. I would suggest this restaurant 100 0/0. I will be going over the bridge back there very often."
