"Ohh just yummminess.... adorable place. Service was spot on. Make u feel right at home. Started with a corn chowder $4 and a three bean soup $4. We shared both and fought over who would finish them they were that good. My fav corn chowder. Not the creamy heavy stuff u would normally associate with chowder. Sweet and light and just orgasmic. Moving on to the main dished I ordered Ireland beer braised beef brisket with Brussels sprouts yeah this is one of my favorite pasta dishes ever!!! Date ordered Louisiana shrimp, Andouille sausage, pepper, corn, parnesan cream very tasty. I liked Ireland better Fried spaghetti for dessert. Umm need i say more. If you haven't tried this place really don't understand what your waiting for. So amazingly simple, fresh, deliciously good food."

"Staten Island is finally starting to turn to the better dining scene and Alor is one of the newer spots that help fill the need of unique and creative dining. The food in this establishment is unbelievable. Every item we have ever tried from the Seafood Pasta to the Gnocchi is simply the best we have ever tasted. The Gnocchi is not your regular Gnocchi, it is made from a cheese. Seafood and sauce that the pasta comes with is cooked to perfection Many places overcook Clams where they become chewy, this place hits it right on the dot with all other items in the dish being as perfect as the clams. Dessert is indescribable - Fried Ravioli with Ice Cream has so much flavor in each bite. Another great feature for this restaurant is they constantly feature weekly specials and pastas of the week."

"The Spaghetti Pasta Seafood with Clams and Calamari was absolutely the best pasta I ever tasted - it's unbelievable what these guys created, the calamari was cooked just perfectly right, not chewy - had a delicious flavor and the clams even had juice."

"I've been a customer at Alor for a while now and of course I had to come to the new restaurant for dinner. I was pleased, as always! The food was good and all of the prices were more than fair. I love the view of the open kitchen and the decor throughout is beautiful. Can't wait to try brunch here!!"
