"Unique to Staten Island, Alor Cafe serves European cuisine with food items such as crepes. All food is unique and probably impossible to find anywhere else on the Island. The Barramundi in Saffron Sauce is delicious, Braised Short Rib Crepe is also very tasty. It has never been disappointing dining here."

"Staten Island only has about 10 to 15 restaurants that stand out from the standard neighborhood restaurants of Chinese, Pizza or Italian. Alor Cafe does not only stand out but they introduce an entirely new dining experience. It's a cafe style cuisine so it's casual enough to enjoy lunch or dinner, we have been dining here for years and no matter the time of day we come, Sunday Brunch, Monday Lunch or Wednesday Dinner it is absolutely unbelievable. All of the food is absolutely superb, my only recommendation is that the servers learn which wines or drinks pairs well with entree's. The prices are extremely reasonable and selection is nowhere to be found."

"Unbelievably Delicious Food! Seafood Crepe comes with Crab Claws, Shrimp, Snails was such a unique choice for seafood that is incomparable to anything else. It was delicious, plentiful and fresh. Braised Short Rib was another excellent choice. Service is top notch, on point. Everything at this restaurant was simply excellent, the owners have done a great job to put everything together."

"This is by far the best food on Staten Island and it's not a statement that I would say if it didn't mean anything. The atmosphere is very pleasant and servers are just on point but the food stands out. For lunch had the special with 2 items from the menu, Cobb Salad like I have never had before, goat cheese, bacon, egg, greens, onions just mixed in perfectly. The southwestern sandwich with avocado, bread Portuguese came with some greens. The price is $9.99 with gourmet coffee. Unbelievable quality that you can get for that price on the island. This is a top notch restaurant that many others can learn from."

"A breath of fresh air to the restaurant industry of Staten Island. Me and some friends went there tonight and were more than amazed by the quality of food. We all had the Squash and Apple SoupSo savory and good, I tried the Pomegranate Chicken Steak over home made mashed potatoes and asparagus and it was outstanding. Everything tasted clean and fresh. My friends had steaks and said they were outstanding. I would definitely go again, there's still a dozen different menu items I want to try."

"Alor has crepes - wonderful crepes- my favorites were the shrimp and asparaus and the smoked duck and goat cheese and the vegatble-.....so they were all really delicious....... the menu is distinctive and varied with many types of fresh, pretty foods to choose from- beautiful tables, and col atmoshpere. I look forward to checking ou their weekend brunch. We shared a couple of really decadent chocolate desserts which were rich and yummy 0but I really loved the tea - they have a great selection and the tea pot is so cool. not only is the menu affordable -but he place is very very well desinged with big windows. The atmosphere is hip and clean with good music and a great sound system you can hear music and have a conversation at the same time!!! wi- fi is available and it is open until midnight!!! THAT is amazing in this boro. I am smitten and will go back soon...."

"Just finished the most delicious hamburger, the blue cheese burger!! Then I moved onto the fantastic Alsaiene flatbread. My husband had the tortilla chicken soup and he loved it. The kids had chicken fingers and according to my son the best mashed potatos ever. I am very happy that alor delivers, the food came quick, hot and nicely packaged. I will definitely be ordering again!"

"Just had dinner from the delivery menu of Alor Cafe and it was the best delivery ordering experience in a long time. Quite a different selection from the typical takeout menu. An assortment of delicious burgers arrived properly cooked, served on a wonderful firm roll and accompanied by crisp, fresh tasting fries. A great flatbread was topped with mozzarella, red onions, Kalamata olives, tomatoes and pesto. Everything was beautifully packed and marked so that you knew what was inside each package without having to open everything. The delivery was astonishingly quick. We will definitely do this again and try some of the other great sounding items on the menu."

"GUARANTEED THE BEST BURGERS ON STATEN ISLAND!!! Some restaurants may give you large burgers that taste like *******, this place gives you large burgers that are delicious. Every bite is delicious. "Simply love this place, no matter if it's delivery or dining it everything is good. I had lunch inside the other day and it was just amazing, the special was great and the food was even better! $10 gave me the choice of 2 items from the Lunch Menu. I chose the Soup of the Day and a Sandwich. The Soup was Portugal bean style chili. I was eating it for a while and when I reached half of it, I realized how good it tasted, it livened up my taste-buds, it was simply wow! The Sandwich was the Pulled Chicken. Nothing would compare to this! The bread, the sauce and the way it taste cannot be matched. I have to say I have never tasted a chicken sandwich this good! Slow roasted seasoned chicken topped with guacamole and fresh tomato."

"Just had food delivered from the new delivery service they offer and their special menu. Wow, the burgers with the crispy fries is delicious, definitely NOT your regular burger, you can see and taste the preparation of the burger. My co-worker also ordered but got the Cornish Hen instead and something different for your lunch meal. Will be ordering again, great price and fast delivery service!"

"One of the few decent weekend brunch places on Staten Island. The savory crepes are actually really good. I would particularly recommend the chicken one. Breakfast burrito avocado and scrambled eggs is very tolerable though a touch on the greasy side. Good service, with the staff willing to accommodate minor changes without a hassle. They also have a kids menu but you have to ask for it. The decor is nothing to write home about, but there is plenty of space and light."
