"I use to eat there 2-3 times a week. Ordered for home or the office all the time. In Dec. 2010 that stopped when the old owners sold to someone new. The food portions got smaller. Pricing increased. Quality of food is not what it use to be. Since December I ordered 3 times. All 3 times I was disappointed. I will no longer order from them. Now I will travel to the Stop & Shop Shopping plaza on Hylan to get my China Chow from a better place."

"A couple of days ago I picked up some food from this local spot. I found the food to be very reasonable and pretty tasty. Did not taste like the typical MSG filled takeout food. Great job for a little hole in the wall spot."

"No. 1 Chinese Kitchen's beef with mushroom was perfectly done. The beef was tender and I like how the mushroom was cooked. There are those who overcooked the mushroom but in No. 1 it was so perfect."
