"Went for lunch in late feb.. BEST BANG for your BUCK...Had about 7 plates.. shrimp cocktail..clams.. lomein some califronia rolls... salmon.. ribs and more all very very fresh cuz theres a hugh turnaround! also very clean.. there bathroom could be updated.. but that has nothing to do with there great service and food paid only 22.50 lunch for 2 adults and 1 child like I said best bang for your buck!"

"My experience at New China buffet for a lunch buffet last weekend was amazingly perfect. The price was so worth the food they serve. I like the way they design the display, very accessible and comfortable to look around. Food is very well prepared and service was first class."

"Bunch of us went there Ayer work to celebrate a birthday. We sat, ordered the drinks and went to get food. Everything was fine , the food was fresh, it was Friday night. Except the waiter was visibly sick, sneezing and constantly blowing his nose. Now a week later most of us got sick4 ppl. Severe cough headache runny nose and sore throat. Now I understand that pplget sick, nothing to whine about, but common people who work in such establishments should stay home when sick. There were like a hundred people there that day and a lot of elderly and young children with compromised immune system, can only hope that no one else got sick. And the ménage meant was well aware of its employee being sick it was that obvious and just let him work like nothing."

"We've been coming to this buffet in New Dorp for several years. The food is very good here -- they have an excellent selection of seafood and shrimp dishes, lots of hot crab legs during dinner, and alot of chicken, pork, and vegetable dishes-- both Chinese and American. The chicken wings, ribs, and dumplings are delicious. The sushi and sushi rolls are also tasty and fresh. The salads and soups like the seafood bisque are very good too. They also have a nice variety of carving board meats during dinner-time and sometimes have duck with hoisin sauce and scallions in a hot bun Chinese-style. Our experience with the serverswaiters in the New China Buffet has been a very good one. The serverswaiters are very pleasant, nice people. They are very attentive to their customers and refill drinks their sweet iced tea is the best. New China Buffet's prices are also very reasonable -- especially if you like seafood and crab legs with a good selection of all types of meat and vegetable dishes. New China Buffet is the best."
