Beautiful, romatic decor. Wonderful family atmosphere. Filet mignon and mozzarella, meatball eggrolls and sweet potatoe bites were delicious. Coconut martini is also a must try !Couldnt have been happier ! Best of luck, the restaurant is an asset to si diners. Will be back as much as possible ! Thank you !!!"

"Came to this place with my brother to try have meatballs, was really expecting the meatballs to be the star, since the very name of the place suggests it. We came around lunch time, and sat outside under the umbrellas. Our waiter came soon after and took the drink orders, so far so good. About 10 minutes later, one of the employees came to fix the sun umbrella for us, and didn't really ask if we wanted it moved or not, although a nice gesture, I wanted to sit in the sun actually for a tan, I didn't bother to stop him as he seemed eager in it, he ended up closing the umbrella right over my table and something from the umbrella fell on me, maybe some stone or dried bird poo, not sure. So I told him, it's not a good idea to fold an umbrella over a patron's food table. Our waiter came back and we ordered Chicken Marsala meatballs, Veal Pork & Beef Meatballs and Spaghetti. To our disappointment, the meatballs were extremely bland, starchy tasting and felt like they had more bread than meat in them. They lacked spices and any distinct flavors, we sent the Veal Pork and Beef meatballs back, and finished the chicken meatballs because we were hungry and they were eatable to some extent. Spaghetti isn't house made, and the tomato sauce was too salty, perhaps from a can? When we sent the Veal Pork and Beef meatballs back, and the manager woman wanted to offer us something else off the menu, but we just wanted to leave and already lost our appetite, after explaining to her what was wrong with the food, she seemed surprised and said no one ever said that before to her. Well: 1. You just opened 2. Many people don't feel comfortable saying negative comments to the owner. 3. Me and my brother have been to many food places, and have developed quite a pallet, and are conscientiousness food critics. My brother graduated top of his class from the Culinary Institute of America, and we both focus on quality, balanced taste, and delicious food that comes from passion, not just greed or need to make $$$. They did take the returned food off our bill, but that's not why we came there. How disrespectful to feed your hungry customers disgusting, bland, watered down meatballs that are most parts bread/starch, less parts meat. Sure, you save $ on meat this way, why not name them "breadballs" then to avoid breaking the "Truth In Menu" laws? Anyway, we will not be returning to this place again, too bad."

"What a disgrace! I had much better meatballs in the Staten Island Mall then this place is serving. My brother and I are food connoisseurs and decided to try this place out in search of some delicious homemade meatballs. Right from the start it felt awkward in that place. When we 1st walked in we weren't greeted properly. Some woman from behind the bar yelled out we can sit anywhere we want. We are used to this inhospitable service on Staten Island so we didn't pay much attention. The waiter was semi decent at 1st but as time progressed he became less and less attentive to our needs. We had to ask him twice for another drink after he passed by seeing out glasses empty. Also, there was this bus boy who moved the umbrella to block the sun without asking us we were sitting outside dropped a bunch of bird crap on us from the umbrella and never apologized. Then come the meatballs. I am gagging just typing this review. What a shame! The chicken Marsala meatballs were over salted for starters. When biting into it all I can taste is breading. Very little meat whatsoever. These were the best of the bunch might I add. The pork meatballs were honestly the most disgusting thing I ever ate. It was like biting into a soggy wet old piece of bread. The meat for, what little there was, was completely bland and all you can taste is the nasty breading. That is not how you make meatballs people! Where is the love, the passion, the authenticity, the flavor! We had to send both portions of the pork meatballs back. The owner comes out with an ignorant attitude and manages to tell us nobody ever complained about their food. People today rarely complain to restaurants, they just never come back. Having a background in culainry and hospitality I can honestly and professionally say this place needs to either close or change chefs. Leaves a nasty flavor in my mouth thinking about this place. If not my knowledge and understanding of how a meatball should be prepared, they would have ruined my love for this lovely meal. Final word..if you are driving by this place...keep driving or better yet turn around and go visit Angelina's on Ellis street. Hands down the best restaurant on the island."

"I've not yet been to this very new restaurant, but I have to be a bit suspicious of two nearly identical reviews, written ostensibly by brothers, one of which supposedly is a CIA graduate and who have "quite a palate", which contain words such as gag, disgusting, etc. and end by recommending a competing restaurant. That doesn't excuse the service issues, though, if true."

"I have gone here twice and I LOVE it. The outdoor seating is wonderful as it is a rarity on the island Service could be quicker, but I enjoy being able to take my time and enjoy my meal. Drinks are absolutely AMAZING. Although the martinis can get a little pricey about $10+ you can get them during happy hour for only $6 and the quality is well worth the price, even if it isn't happy hour. They definitely named the place right because the meatballs are just as good. They are tender, juicy and cooked to perfection. I got the stuffed meatballs and the beef meatballs both were DELICIOUS. I would recommend them for anyone. A friend even ordered the veggie meatballs and they were delicious as well. The meatballs and martinis aren't the only things they do right here. I've also tried the crab-stuffed portabella mushroom and the Napoleon alla griglia. Portions are generous, servers are friendly and management checks on you on often. Being in the service industry myself for 8 years I was VERY IMPRESSED. I will definitely be returning and making this a weekly spot for me and my girlfriends. If I could give 10 stars I would."

"I love this place! The meatballs, both with vodka sauce and with marinara, were delicious, and the pasta with filet mignon tips was so good! It does get a bit pricey with drinks, but great for a night out. As for the negative reviews below, I find it highly suspect that two brothers who are self-proclaimed "foodies", with one being a trained chef, cannot spell palate or culinary, and then mention a competing restaurant. I get out rarely, and was very happy with this restaurant, and will coming back again."
