"Last two reviews sound either bogus or misinformed. People usually don't get sick from "food poising" within five minutes of eating. An allergic reaction, maybe so, but that's not really what most people consider food POISONING. And two different posters making the same spelling error a week apart? Hmmm."

"I have eaten there several times. Service is excellent. Food is very good. If you don't live too far away, the Pizza is among the best on Staten Island. I will say that again - among the best on Staten Island. We all know that there is some great pizza on SI - so this is something you should try."

"My granddaughter ate there Thursday evening she had Pena with Vodka sauce. After eating within 5 minutes she was very sick took her to the Dr's and she had FOOD POISING. Went to speak to the owner he threw his arm up in the air and said what do you want me to do - call a lawyer. Look into the kitchen and see the conditions."

"I give 5 stars and have not been to Casa Verde yet as the customer service is awesome. We planned to have my Mom's BD lunch there and since my brother and my sister in law have been there and really liked it it was a go. Unfortunatley due to the snow we had to cancel/well postpone. Geno and Adam were MORE than nice re: changes we had to make. I will write a another review when we have My MOM'S BD lunch at Casa Verde!"

"Went there Sunday for Mother's Day. Was very disappointing. Ordered the filet of sole Francaise and wasn't able to eat it. You would think they would know you DO NOT USE VINEGAR for Francaise! It was socked in Vinegar and I was unable to eat it! My BF tasted it and spit it out! I told them to take it off the bill and the waiter said, we will take care of you the next time you come back. I said there wont be a next time! Their salad was warm, wilted and tasteless and their baked clams was very bland. Never again!"

"Casa verde has been my favorite restaurant. Their grilled prime sirloin steak is to die for. They cook it perfectly and served just on time, I mean the cooking or preparation is not so long. Their service staff are all professional and well trained. They always keep the place neat and classy. I like it just the way it is!"

"Hosted my sisters baby shower here and everything was great. Food and service was excellent. The staff was very accommodating and assisted in whatever I needed to make the day run smoothly. We have since been back for dinner and the menu is great. The penne vodka and chicken parmigiana was amazing. It is a great spot for an intimate, delicious Italian meal- we will be back."

"Owner has been in the restaurant business in Staten Island for over 25 years, and you will find him up front in the restaurant. Food is very good and a great value. I usually order the Veal or Chicken Parmigiana, which are always fresh and very well prepared, with a side of Penne Vodka that is rich in flavor. My wife orders different seafood dishes and always enjoys them. Their multi-course dinners and lunches are delicious at very reasonable prices. Service is usually very good. The ambiance is comfortable and unpretentious. A nice place to relax and have some very good Italian food for lunch or dinner. Always popular, especially on the weekends."

"I have been going to this restaurant and its predecessor Bella Vita /25 years.., it is the most consistent restaurants on the island in terms of good food reasonable prices and a great staff all of those negative reviews are total nonsense I would highly recommend this place without reservation I personally go there with my wife and family and friends on the average of once every two weeks are .. you will not be disappointed"

"Just celebrated my parents 50th Anniversary here this afternoon. Beautiful decor, very pleasant servers, excellent food. I'd definitely recommend Casa Verde to anyone who's looking to host a small, well done venue ... this is the place!"
