"Been going here for over 20 years, my pickup orders are hardly ever right. Place was pretty empty. This time owners wife was giving me extra large tzaki instead of Russian on the side, unbeknownst to me she wrapped up french dressings, I called them to speak with her , WITH OUT APOLOGY, the order taker said she wouldn’t even get on the phone! Magdi my friend tome to reinvent customers service. P.S. the 2 stars are because your food is always good"

"The food is really good but calling to order is never a good experience I get that busy nights might be put on hold for a couple min but but after waiting at least be pleasant but instead you get an attitude and a lot of waiting .today ( April ,1.2021) was the first time I was taken care of right away and the women was pleasant . Good luck Woodrow you got great burgers I’ll say that"

"I ordered food here via delivery for the first...and last time. The diner is close to my home yet it took them 90 mins to deliver it. The delivery guy walked the food to my home in a plastic bag on a cold January night...needless to say my entire order was cold and soggy. Iwill never order from them again. There are so many other places on the island that are 100 times better!"

"Ok, I'll admit it, we've been eating here for years. It's like my second kitchen. I never thought I was a "diner" person, but Woodrow is not your typical diner. First the owner makes it his business to know his customer, and greets you immediately, he knows where you like to sit, and if God forbid there's ever a problem, which there rarely, is, he will make it right, right away. The food is good, not superb, but good week night- I'm too tired to cook food. The menu is extensive, and the servings are enormous and soup or salad with a vegetable, rice or pasta are offered with every entree. We usually have chicken, anyway they have it, and they have it many different ways. Two could eat from one entree. The broiled seafood platter that's right -seafood from a diner is delish! Try it. They have recently expanded so you don't have much of a wait, and if you like a cocktail or wine with dinner, they have that too! All reasonably priced, and right here on SI."

"My family has been eating in the Woodrow for years, and when we have guests from out of town we take them there. Their owner is always there to make sure everything goes right. Food is delicious and a great value for the money."

"Its a hit or miss place it all depends on who's there the owner runs a tight ship but as for me any time That I go And he is not there is always a problem The girl who is to manage the place he's too busy gossiping with all the girls so the staff is very relaxed at that point the food that comes out of the kitchen is horrible and I'm more than one occasion I have brought it to their attention so as for me it is no longer a place of my choice that's my opinion sorry for the truth"

"Tried to place an order, restaurant yelled they don’t accept door dash and hung up, I have never used door dash and had no idea what it is.. Called back they took my number and hung up again... it’s a good thing Stewart’s is up the block got my delivery quick and the food was great."

"Never again. 2 hours to deliver food. Overpriced, food was ice cold and wet. My family refuses to eat from here again. Called them to ask when I will get my delivery, girl who answered is brain dead and nasty. We should of refused to accept the delivery/food."
