"You've all heard me complain about the standardization of Thai food, and the spread of boring, tedious pad thai and pad see ew. Enter Thaiholic. This place is absolutely fantastic - and it has all sorts of menu options not on your standard Thai menu, like roti canai, which you ordinarily find at Malaysian restaurants and be sure to order it here - it's so good - I think I could just eat the massaman dipping sauce for dinner. Also, be sure to get the larb which, of course, isn't a surprising Thai menu find, but it's particularly good here - topped with cilantro, loads of fish sauce, and red onions, and delightfully spicy. We also had the tamarind salmon - a big chunk of salmon cooked to absolute perfection, served on a bed of vegetables, and with a plate of rice. Even the sauteed vegetables - we ordered the bok choy - were the perfect complement to the salmon. And the prices here are beyond reasonable - we sampled four things and spent $38 before tip. I'm bummed that I was too full to sample the celebrated pumpkin dessert, but it means I'll just have to make another trip to Thaiholic."
