"The food is good but the service the last couple of times there has gone way down. There are many places with good food and once upon a time this place had both good food and great service. I don't need to pay that price for the service I got last time I was there. I guess it's time to move on."

"Delicious food, presented beautifully, good value, very attentive service, but not overly so, decently made bar drinks though a drop over-priced for outside Manhattan, lovely ambiance, very clean in bar, dining, and rest room areas I trust the kitchen is, too. Desserts are a little skimpy, but delicious. Can order combo's for a la carte and party menus. George and his staff aim to please!"

"Went for dinner New Years Eve. Food was just so so, portions are very small, especially in view of the prices. Service was very very slow, 1 minutes between each course but the staff was quite nice. Unfortunately, had to send a meal back as the pork chop was definitly under cooked bloody red . Furthermore the bill came with the gratuity already added to total, I prefer to determine the tip myself. All in all not worth almost $300.00 for four people. I would not recommend this restaurant."

"What a wonderful dining experience, everything was top shelf. To have a restaurant in your local area without going into the city for an unforgettable evening with friends was such a pleasure. The food was excellent the service was as impressive as the food. I give high points to this restaurant. if your looking for a nice evening out make sure you check out Piccolino's. To the chef and to the servers, my thanks again for a great dining experience."

"Great dining experience, especially for Staten Island. The food was well prepared, nicely presented and very tasty. The tricolor salad was plentiful and delicious. The tilapia rustica presentation was unusual in that all the ingredients pinenuts, olives, artichokes, sundried tomatoes, and roasted potatoes blended together and was served with a light sauce that didn't overpower the taste of the fish. The complimentary chocolate dessert was outstanding and a chocaholics delight!. The service was exemplary and overall this was a wonderful dining experience."

"What a gem! Delicious from our two wonderful salads, mine was a "Tropical Salad" based with mixed greens, mango, mandarin oranges, and MANGO CHEESE never even heard of it before, very delicious!. My fiance had a chop salad that she loved. They gave us a complimentary mango sorbet to cleanse the palate. The staff was very attentive, the water glasses were constantly refilled. For the entree I had chicken stuffed with pear, provolone, and spinach wrapped in proscuitto and served with fennel and mashed potatoes in a gorgonzola cream sauce. I liked it alot, but the pear was a little underwhelming, I was hoping to get the flavor more. My fiance had the fruiti de pesce which was shrimp, mussels, and fish in a tomato basil sauce over pasta. She loved it and I dipped my bread in the sauce, which I agreed was quite good. They also gave us fried polenta and mixed grilled vegetables on the house. To end, we got a complimentary slice of cheesecake. We went there on a whim and weren't disappointed in the least. My only gripe was that they don't have their liquor license yet, but they did tell us they do BYOB and there was a liquor store right next door. Between the service and the food, we'll definitely be back and I hope they last on the island."
