"First week were a bit disappointed to see our local diner gone, but we already ate here 3 times, breakfast today and dinner a couple other times. I was very tempted to write this review on how excellent everything was. The brunch specials are new, service is already outstanding and the food is much fresher than it ever was. Good luck to the new owners we will be regulars if you keep up the way things have been."

"Yes new owners and many improvements like pricing, menu selection, tasty food and customer satisfaction. -Pricing: no major price increase but more add-on options on the menu. The OLD owners would have added $$$ for nothing in return, think transit fare hike!! - Menu selection: one word BRUNCH! from frittata to crepes are recommended. - Taste: yes, eggs, burgers and milk shakes are still good but the fresh crab cakes, prime rib, or rissoto are my favorites - Customer Satisfaction: the floor staff such as Annie or Valerio are very knowledgeable on the menu, and they interact to provide an enjoyable dining experience. Also the delivery time has improved more on time and accurate orders received. I truly hope the new management continue success in future improvements trends."

"every time i go here the mess up and the employees are clueless and slow. i called to ask what time they were open until and the kid who answered the phone didn't even know he asked someone who was standing next to him, when he told me i said ok thanks man and he said "umm ok...." they seem lost on how to run a restaraunt, the food is always cold and takes forever...how could you do this to us mike?!"

"This Diner has been resurected.. The new owners have turned a one time dump into a very pleasent dinning experience for the whole family at very affordable prices. All the riff raff that used to work there have been replaced while keeping only the best from the prior owner. Daily specials are fantastic. Delivery for the most part has improved quite a bit for deliveries at night but still needs some work during the day."

"lunch specials say it comes with soda, delivery didnot come with soda. called and spoke with very rude manager, called him self the owner, he kept telling me soda doesnt come with lunch for delivery, so i asked why doesnt the menu you say that and his response to me is "mam im the owner". which hes not. disgusting attitude for a manager to have."

"I just don't understand how after being opened for seven months, the Diner still says "Mikes Place" on a giant sign on the roof. This is business 101. If they are trying to distinguish themselves as a great new diner, with a new name then maybe taking the former owners name off the place would be a start. This should have been done the day they bought the place. If they don't care enough to promote there own business, then how can they serve customer? I just can't patronize "the new dorp diner" because it really does not exist."
