"The food was ok, the service was fast however the overall experience wasn’t up to par. For starters the entire restaurant could use a power wash cleaning. My wife spotted a cockroach beside me crawling on the diner chair. We reported the incident however the server offered an apology and looked around but did nothing to accommodate us. We sat there in disbelief and asked for a doggy bag. We had ordered a pitcher of sangria and refused to let it go to waste. We decided to move ourselves to the bar being that it was not offered at anytime. Once at the bar I played along with the instruments making the best of an uncomfortable situation. My wife couldn’t stop talking about the roach incident and began taking pictures of the dirty floors under each table and behind the bar. I must agree with her assessment, the floors were extremely dirty We finally received our bill and to our surprise no discount nor reduction of the bill provided for the terrible unsanitary experience. We paid our bill in full however left no gratuity in hopes they got the message regarding our dissatisfaction in how they did nothing to make us comfortable after the whole roach incident. My wife and I are huge foodies and enjoy dining in our community. We literally just got back from Atlantic City and only thought about having dinner in our backyard. Unfortunately the experience left us wondering if we can ever return to this restaurant or recommend it to our friends and family. For this reason I give them a 0 in cleanliness. The music, overall lighting and friendliness of the staff was enjoyable however having roaches is a disgusting visual experience when dining. We didn’t insist on receiving a discount because we felt sorry for the staff. Can you believe Saturday night included one waiter, one bartender and by the looks of it one cook. How is any restaurant expected to provide a wonderful dining experience when their priority clearly indicates cutting back on overall man power is not their priority. Hopefully the next patron will not be so discreet. Maybe a call to OSHA, the department of Sanitation or food & safety or reporting to the city’s commercial cleanliness page will do something to avoid this from ever happening again. BTW, the page only allows 10 pictures but we have way more to share and all show dirty floors. What a waste"
