"My wife and I have been dining at this lovely local restaurant for almost three years, and it just keeps getting better. There are no shortage of Italian restaurants on Staten Island, but what makes La Riviera special is the warm, welcoming spirit of Marcello and his wife Maria. Whenever I dine there, I feel like I am eating at an old friend`s house. You can taste the attention to detail and emphasis on freshness in all of their dishes. This place truly is a hidden gem and a standout amongst all the other SI Italian eateries."

"La Riveria is one of the best restaurants on S.I. The food is always consistant and fresh and the specials are incredible. The host and hostess Marcello & Maria always make you feel welcome and go out of their way to please. On Friday nights they have a wonderful entertainer, Don Ferrara. It may not be as well known as some of the other Island favorites, but if you try it I`m sure you will not be disappointed. For me, it`s a 5-star winner!"
