"Ha! previous reviews state "Worst Italian Restaurant" has to be another restaurant in the area! La Bellas is the perfect casual eatery in Great Kills! - You can come here for a birthday dinner or stop in for a delicious pizza and a glass of wine. La Bellas is welcoming both with outdoor dining, front room dining and main dining area. Have tried many meals from this place and each one has always been top notch. Seafood Pasta Fra Diavolo I think it was comes overloaded with seafood. Their specialty pizzas have always been excellent and the Sweet and Spicy Calamari is very unique in flavor yet cooked just right."

"I went to labellas for the first time tonight.I recieved a gift certificate as a gift and went on the website to look ar the menu before going. I was not expecting muxh based on the reviews I read. Nothing coul be further from the truth. It was really great. We had the apple cranberry walnut salad with goat cheese first which was awesome, followed by the gourmet pizza called Sicilian eggplant.....absolutely delicious. The service couldn't have been better. Very Pleased, Would defiantly go back. Also the atmosphere was very pleasant. Very nice. Affordable"

"?huge fly in white sangria!! gross....no apology no refund...waiter was more concerned with me keeping my voice down so other customers wouldnt kno there was a huge fly in my drink that i ate a piece...wanted to vomit....didnt even offer refund for drinks....i had to ask! waiter's response was"it happens""

"Went here on Saturday night at 6:30pm and we were turned away because they said they were full. They must've had 10 to 12 tables open but the hostess said they were taken due to reservations. What happens if those reservations don't show up? You are turning away customers who are there right now with cash. Sometimes the restaurant business doesn't make sense to me but I'm thinking if people are there to eat, sit them. Also, the hostess wan't too nice either, she just said they were full and we would have to wait over an hour. I will try other establishments before I try them again....."

"First I have worked in restaurant industry for over 10 years and rarely have to complain about service. The food was average, I felt like the pizza sauce had no flavor, and could have gotten a better pizza from a chain store. However the service from our server was down right awfully. After greeting me and my date I had to walk up to the server who was a few feet away talking to the bartender to get my drink order. My date ordered a soup and moments later our entries arrived, my date needed a refill on her water, I need a some garlic for my pizza and the server only 10 feet away did not check back for OVER 25mins most the time he had his back to me and my date talking to the bartender and other server. I had asked the busser who had brought the food for the items we needed and I guess he forgot, After watching the server take a stroll outside for the second time without checking how our dinner was I had come up asking for the manager. I explained to a young lady that its been over 25mins since our server only few feet away has even bothered to check how our meal was going. After that I guess he did not even want to serve me and my date, because another server had taken over, I have to admit Anthony was very friendly when he had taken over as our server but by that time it was too late, The fact that the server only few feet away would not even make eye contact or the manager coming upfront saying sorry for what happened, my date was not happy with her food, would not suggest this place, the food was OK but because the service was so bad this is by far one of the worst experiences I had, and I eat our twice a week, if you do go to this place I would suggest asking for Anthony, I had watched him take care of his tables and get refills when my server was outside a few feet away checking the time and the checkbook,"
