"Oh how yummy - The braised pork belly slider was such a treat that I have not tried anywhere before. Other dish worth a mention was the Shrimp with Ginger and Scallions and everything was delicious. It used to be my top 3 Chinese Restaurant choice on Staten Island until the slider - now it is my favorite."

"The food at Jac Mao used to be good, now it is inconsistent more often poor quality than good. In addition, they have proven that they do not care about their customers and that they are not to be trusted. In late January we placed a $70 order which arrived minus the fried wontons and small ribs @ $14 worth of food. We immediately contacted the restaurant hoping that perhaps the items fell out in the car and they could contact the delivery man and have him return. No such luck. The restaurant was not even apologetic. They stated that they were busy and it would be at least 30-45 minutes before the delivery man could return with the forgottendropped items. The restaurant suggested that they would instead attach a message to our account we were semi-regular customers indicating that we had a credit for the forgottendropped items. We asked if we could get a text or e-mail as proof of same. The woman stated that they could not do that, but assured us that she had already attached the message to our account. We were not happy, but we agreed to this compromise as we would have finished the other food by the time the replacement items would arrive. Well, last night we again ordered from Jac Mao and requested that they confirm that there was a credit on our account for the forgottendropped items. The worker stated that no such messagecredit was on the account and he could not honor a verbal agreement. He put the manager on the phone the same woman who had told us back in January that she had credited the account and she reaffirmed that they could not honor their previous agreement. She said this while giggling. What an embarrassment to any company, but at Jac Mao apparently it is amusing when you totally screw and disrespect your customers. The food was once again sub-par last night. So, I guess we will find a new Chinese restaurant that actually appreciates its customers. I suggest that you all do the same. They didn't even have the courtesy to rush the order after this royal hosing we waited about an hour for our order to be delivered."

"We used to like this place but for the past few orders they have no concern for any customers. They don't care when they take 1-1/2 hrs to deliver food or if they forget to deliver something you've ordered and paid for. They will never admit to any of their mistakes, and will never make good on them. We have had enough of their arrogance and lack of respect for their customers. Don't bother with them. It's not worth it."

"Had a great meal once again at Jac Mao's. Very pleasant and cordial bartender, Daniele, was quick and curtious with our drinks. Food was soooo delicious. Can't wait to go back. Try the lobster in black bean sauce, China style. To dye for."
