"You can't beat the price fixe menu at Il Sogno. We started going there about 5 months ago based on the ad we saw in a local paper. For about $25, you get a wide variety of choices - an appetizersoup, all-you-can-eat pasta dish different pastas each night, entree, dessert, coffeetea. After our 3rd time, the waiter noticed that I order the Caesar salad, but seem to always forget to ask them not to put the shaved cheese on top and then, scoop it off onto the bread plate and brought out the salad with the dressing on the side, saying "I saw that you take off the cheese in the past." I was impressed that he paid close attention to an infrequent customer. The owner is always warm and welcoming, as though he is bringing you into his own home. We never know what the pasta of the day is, but there are always two types and they serve a small portion e.g. two stuffed rigatoni and a pasta primavera allowing you to ask for additional plates if you want. The only problem is, if you fill up on the pasta, you won't have room for your entree. Entree choices include a chicken, veal, fish and pork, with various options. Dessert is tortoni and coffeetea. We have not been disappointed. With two soft drinks, the bill is about $60 and we walk out feeling satisfied. On Wednesday nights, they have a Lobster special I don't remember the price but it is similar to the price-fixe menu with lobster instead of the other entree choices."

"SO AMAZING! THE FOOD IS SUPERB.. STAFF IS GRACIOUS, EVERYTHING YOU WOULDNT EXPECT FROM DRIVING INTO THIS SMALL PARKING LOT BUT AFTER THE DOORS OPEN YOU COULDNT ASK FOR MORE.. A LIL PRICEY BUT SO GOOOD"

"Atmosphere is 5 stars, food presentation 5 stars, food quality and taste 5 stars, service 5 stars, it's a gem to Annandale and a gem to the entire south shore Staten Island. Pork chops are succulent, delicious, the drinks are merry and pasta is always excellent no matter which option. Great prix fix specials as well, a little pricier than other Italian places but well worth the experience. Thank you"
