"Terrific food and service with a smile. My daughter and I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at a very reasonable price. I plan on retuning to try the lunch menu. Highly recommend!"

"After reading about the Harvest Café in the Sunday's paper, I just had to take my Dad there for breakfast. It was a wonderful experience. The food was great, much better than the local diner and better priced. The workers take pride in doing their jobs. The Café itself was quaint and homey, all the patrons were so friendly and pleasant. I haven't been there for dinner yet, they seem to have a limited menu, but good choices."

"Although I haven't visited yet, I gave it a 4 star rating to start just for the beauty of the place and its mission. I'm looking forward to eating here this week. To respond to the 11/17/11 reviewer, I don't think the previous reviewer meant to be insensitive or insulting, but may have come across that way. To me I think he meant that More people would come to the restaurant knowing it was run by AVSP with a mission. The last time I was in a special restaurant on Forest Ave, Choices Cafe by OYM, there were news articles prominently displayed about the restaurant. Perhaps Harvest might do the same, just as any proud establishment wants to share its story to entice more customers."

"Why was it so bothersome to you that the restaurant is staffed by developmentally disabled members of our community Signage indicating that I am pretty confident that goes against our Constitution. Imagine a restaurant with a sign that said "only Muslims run this place", or any other religionethnicity For all the progress we have made, you only need one ignoramus to bring us 40 years into the past. Remember when you are old, need a hearing aid, glasses,a cane, depends, a handicapped permit, a wheelchair perhaps; you too will be handicapped. Be sure to carry that sign, you poor unfortunate soul. As for the cafe The food is EXCEPTIONAL and btw, the CHEF is fabulous, and renowned in food circles, the service is very good, and the place is ALWAYS full."

"This restaurant is run by a Very Special Place. It gives jobs to those who are physically and mentally challenged. However there is no sign outside indicating that it is run by a Very Special Place. The food was good, had a nice breakfast, reasonable prices. Service was not fast. Not sure if I would return however. I feel there should be a sign outside saying it is run by VSP facility. You only discover this after you enter. Not a bad place however, nice decor good food. Just would prefer some honesty about the mission."
