"Went tonight to take out after hearing about Gyro King a long time ago. We should have went sooner, this will be our only place for Gyro, Kebabs, etc... Everything we ordered was delicious. The lamb Shwarma gyro over rice was one of the best we've ever had. The lamb kebab was grilled to perfection and the Nan bread was fresh, hot and delicious. The white sauce was made perfectly. The chicken kebab was also grilled to perfection. I think next time we will try an Indian dish as well. To sum it up, yum, yum, yum!!"

"The food is delicious in Gyro King, you get real food, rice, grilled breads, real meat for great prices. The portions are very large and makes for great left-overs, heat it up a day or two later and it still taste just as good as day one."

"This restaurant is another reason why I am starting to love this Island even more. More different food is starting to show up around the borough which in fact keeps me staying on this island more often than I did before. The food was really good, actually delicious. During lunch I tried the mixed Shawarma over rice, came with Lamb and Chicken Shawarma, with white basmati rice, some salad, white sauce and delicious toasted pita style bread. For one note, the Portion was just HUGE for the Price and no matter how much I tried to eat of it, I still ended up taking almost half home which in fact tasted delicious after just eating it, 6 hours later.... The meal tasted very fresh, had to a wait a short while, but it was definitely worth it, I asked for a little bit spicy, it was made just right, delicious flavor, simply a great meal. At times I used to drive out to the city to find food like this Carts, 53rd, you know what I'm talking about right no need for that, they are open until 12am everyday and the food tastes just as good if not better than the midnight spot in Manhattan."
