"This was one of the worst food experiences I have had on Staten Island. The decor is beautiful but that is as far as it goes. My partner and I both ordered the lunch special and an appetizer. I ordered the fried rice and they ordered the jollof rice with the lunch special. There was no other patron in the restaurant and it still took 46 minutes for us to receive our lunch. When we did get our food after the wait I was told that they didn't have fried rice and that a new choice had been picked for me. The special only came with one piece of chicken that was small and dry. Our appetizer was grilled beef that was so dry it was barely edible. When we went to pay it took the woman more than 10 mins to come from the back to the counter to check us out after we rang the bell numerous time. While ringing us up she said that the appetizers price was double and just wrong on the menu. And she was not changing it. Point of the story if you want good African food with hospitality? Go to a backyard grill in Park Hill. Would never return or recommend this."
