Ok, I'll admit it, we've been eating here for years. It's like my second kitchen. I never thought I was a "diner" person, but Woodrow is not your typical diner. First the owner makes it his business to know his customer, and greets you immediately, he knows where you like to sit, and if God forbid there's ever a problem, which there rarely, is, he will make it right, right away. The food is good, not superb, but good week night- I'm too tired to cook food. The menu is extensive, and the servings are enormous and soup or salad with a vegetable, rice or pasta are offered with every entree. We usually have chicken, anyway they have it, and they have it many different ways. Two could eat from one entree. The broiled seafood platter (that's right -seafood from a diner) is delish! Try it. They have recently expanded so you don't have much of a wait, and if you like a cocktail or wine with dinner, they have that too! All reasonably priced, and right here on SI.

Unless you are a regular in there, the servers are really nasty and lackadaisical. Food is edible but not great. Not a warm or inviting atmosphere

My family has been eating in the Woodrow for years, and when we have guests from out of town we take them there. Their owner is always there to make sure everything goes right. Food is delicious and a great value for the money.
