I'm a halal food fanatic... Three times a week and tried many different locations ... Sahara unfortunately gives half the portion and for twice the price of other better tasting halal places.. Gyro king on forest ave far better and packs the entree with meat and not rice.... Sahara takes advantage of the fact that it's the only place to get a gyro in the area .. IMHO your better off taking the extra ride to get a better deal

What kind of business opens up says they deliver and when you call for a delivery order they are extremely RUDE and say they won't deliver to your area because the streets are too hard to navigate. This was told to us by the manager. When a new place opens, it's important to support it and we were doing just that with a 100 dollar order but now it makes sense why places like this won't survive because I won't support it and I'll tell others to do the same.

Nice food. I am a Vegetarian an dthe owner had very much to offer in no meat section also. The staff were really good and it was more homely and food was delicious. Kep up the good job

I am very impressed with this place, very small but very welcoming owners and staff. My gyro was amazing. mind you, they just started off so can you imagine how well they will be in a few months when business starts to flourish. Keep up the good job and please dont turn into a "Seaside MESS" (out of control, messing up orders, over priced food)

Went the other day with a friend of mine and was very happy with the service and the selection... and all of it was delicious!! I'll will be going back for sure. Next time taking my husband there ... I brought him home some gyro and chicken mix platter and he loved it.

The place is small, but the food is really terrific. The staff was friendly and made you feel welcome and at-home. I'll go back for sure.

I had my eye on this place since it was being constructed. I waited a few weeks to give them some time to work out their kinks. We ordered a lamb Gyro (which was excellent), Falafel sandwich (the freshest and fluffiest I ever had) babaganoush (not the best I ever had, but up there with the best), and grape leaves. The owner and staff are extremely friendly. Just what we needed on this side of the island. I will be going back soon!

this place has really authentic mediterranean cuisine at a very reasonable price. i tried sheesh kebabs, hummus, falafels, lamb gyros and salads and all of them were simply delicious. i even got a chance to talk with the chef who is from Turkey and knows the art of mediterranean cooking. To top it all, turkish coffee and kahva/tea with the desserts were perfect. the environment inside the place was also very congenial and friendly. the food was cooked fresh and served rather quickly.

Place was amazing had gotten a gyro today. Walked in the front door owner came and greeted awesome customer service. Small place but good food and great people will come again.

Went there today with mild excitement that there is a new middle eastern place by my house I can get to without driving. WOW was my hopes and dreams crushed. When I arrived I could smell the lovely stinking garbage right out in frot of the restuarant, against my better judgement I pressed forward in hopes to get a good shish kabab gyro. I enter and the guy who would seem to be running the restuarant was busy chatting to another woman who was just sitting there. The cook actually had to get the guys attention that a customer walked in. I order my shish kabab gyro only to get an Adana kabab. I know the difference and it was really disgusting that they would try to pass it off as a shish. So far everything that could go wring is going wrong, so I though this gyro had better be the best gyro ever if I am to come back and guess what.....it isn't the meat was very gamey, the flavoring was bland and it was way over cooked, the meat was so tough I ended up just tossing it. Overall the experience was a horrendous one, I could not and will not in my right mind recommend this place at all.

This place was really good, had a lamb gyro yesterday and it was delicious. The salad bar is setup cleaner than Sahara in Brooklyn. Really glad to have this place around and nice to hear they are open until 2AM every day.
