I like mikes place in particular the one on newdorp. They have better tasting food then the colonade diner on hylan blvd and its cheaper. The waitress and waiters are all fair but some are very nice. Dawn in particular is nice usually works on Saturady . If you have a problem with your order an need a manger to correct it Ken and Manny will do it without being rude. Ken works nights Manny not sure.

4/17/11 906 pm i just ordered a bacon cheese burger twin deluxe and they forgot my bacon and my 2 soda's this place sucks can you please hire some one that can take a order without fuc_ing it up thanks

Been eating there since I was a baby. The Greek food is great. The corned beef is surprisingly delicious. The breakfast food, like omelets, are good. I like the milkshakes.

It's alright for when you need food at 3am. That being said, there are very few items on this menu I would order during the day.
This place has terrible service. The counter service messed up a breakfast take out order 3 days one week. Each time was the same order: 2 bacon and egg on a roll sandwiches, 1 canadian bacon and egg on a roll. Not exactly the hardest of breakfast orders. Despite this, one sandwich out of the order was either the wrong meat, or had cheese, or some other detail that was plain screwed up all 3 times we ordered that week.
Continuing on the service, a troll of a waitress told me to sit down "because I was making her nervous" standing next to the counter. I placed a pick up order and arrived 35 minutes after I ordered it. The food was supposed to be ready in 20 minutes. So while I'm in a rush, and expecting my food to be ready, this anti-social woman with no grasp of customer service goes on to tell me that I'm making her nervous while she is standing around bullshitting to the other waitresses instead of helping her customers. What a joke.
Despite this I keep coming back to this place simply because of its hours, location, and selection.
