"The Vegetable or Meat Thali will be your favorite dining experience on Staten Island. 7 Small dishes surround the mixing platter along with the rice letting you mix up your own flavor and dip with the special flat Crepe style.
A peice of heaven from each and every bite, everything from the Presentation to the dessert.
The decoration of course is not as nearly as eye pleasureful as the other Sri Lankin restaurant, but the food is ten-fold better."

"Delicious food - had vegetable thali for lunch - each item was fresh and just spicy enough. Enjoyed being able to try a variety of dishes. The waiter was friendly & attentive. Definitely will be back."

"Very authentic Indian/Sri Lankin cuisine on the Island. It's probably the only one serving real Dosa, eat with your hands type of food. Sure we have Taste of India and Indian Clove but they are more "Americanized" style Indian food. Although I do love them all, Dosa Garden seems to stand out when I really want something different. Prices are a bit heavy though, especially for lunch with specials reaching $13 and more, but it's a nice getaway from reality.
I suggest making a better, more affordable lunch special which will drive more customers back to the evening. Still, I'll be a returning customer and loving it."

"A very good option for Indian/Sri lankan food. There vegetarian entrees is what they seem to promote and the menu focus is on it. Portions are very large, service is not that great but it is somewhat cozy with a dimly lit atmosphere, the food was great! The Menu on this website needs to be updated..."

"Over the years a lot of restaurants changed in the neighborhood, just down the block 4 or 5 different Sri Lankan restaurants with nearly identical cuisines. Dosa Garden is consistent with their pricing and quality. someone said they needed a make-over but I say keep things just the way they are, stay traditional to your roots, keep the same recipes and you'll be here long after the next batch of restaurants open and close. Service just right, but the cuisine at Dosa Garden is unbeatable. Not one restaurant took on the time to actually create dosa."

"We highly recommend Dosa Garden. The food quality is that of a fine-dining experience. Our host and server Pranama aka Anna was very pleasant and helpful in explaining the menu items. We had a wonderful rendition of the following items appetizers Chicken 65 and Paneer Pakora, an order of the Chicken Dosa, and entrees Shrimp Korma and Chicken Manchurian with Cheese Naan. All the dishes were delicious. We highly recommend Dosa Garden. P.S.- they have a parking lot also which is a plus!"
